الفضاء الصحراوي في رواية بين رفوف الغيب (مقاربة موضوعاتية)

الملخص: تحتل الصحراء مكانة محورية في الأدب العربي، إذ لا يقتصر كونها فضاءً جغرافيًا، بل تعد رمزًا يعكس الهُوية، والتحولات الاجتماعية والثقافية، والصراعات النفسية، وتعتمد تلك الدارسة على المنهج الموضوعاتي الذي يهتم بالصور الخيالية، محاولًا تجاوز المعنى الظاهر للنصوص، واللجوء للقراءة الموسعة، إلى ظاهراتية الخيال، وتسعى الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تمثلات الصحراء في رواية (بين رفوف الغيب) للكاتب السعودي محمد خالد منيف، حيث تتوزع إلى عدة محاور رئيسة، منها: الفضاء الصحراوي للاغتراب والهوية الممزقة، حيث تظهر الصحراء في الرواية بوصفها فضاء مجهول يعكس أزمة الهوية والاغتراب، إذ يعاني الفرد بين قيم المجتمع التقليدية ومتغيرات العصر الحديث، فتتحول الصحراء إلى مرآة للعزلة النفسية والاجتماعية التي تعايشها شخصيات الرواية، فهي تعبر عن ضياع الذات في بيئة متغيرة ذات وتيرة سريعة. كذلك تظهر الصحراء في هذه الرواية باعتبارها مرآة للانفصال العاطفي والنفسي، حيث يعاني البطل من أزمة نفسية تدفعه إلى العزلة، ويتحول فضاء الصحراء إلى رمز للحزن والتأمل في الذات، وتعكس الصحراء الانفصال عن المجتمع والتهميش الاجتماعي، حيث يشعر البطل بالغربة في وطنه، ويجد نفسه منفصلًا عن الواقع المحيط به. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن التيه النفسي الذي يعانيه الفرد من فقدان الهوية والتشتت بين الانتماءات المتضاربة يجعل التنقل داخل الصحراء انعكاسًا داخليًا للبحث عن الذات.
Abstract: The desert occupies a central position in Arabic literature. It is not merely a geographical space, but a symbol that reflects identity, socio-cultural transformations, and psychological conflicts. This study adopts the thematic approach, which focuses on imaginative imagery, attempting to move beyond the surface meaning of texts toward an expanded reading rooted in the phenomenology of imagination. The study aims to explore representations of the desert in the novel “Bayna Rufuf al-Ghayb” (Between the Shelves of the Unseen) by the Saudi writer Mohammed Khaled Muneef. These representations are distributed across several major axes, among them: the desert space as a site of alienation and fragmented identity. In the novel, the desert appears as an unknown expanse that mirrors a crisis of identity and estrangement, as the individual grapples with the values of a traditional society and the changes of the modern era. Consequently, the desert becomes a mirror of the psychological and social isolation experienced by the novel’s characters, expressing a sense of self-loss in a rapidly changing environment.Moreover, the desert in this novel serves as a mirror for emotional and psychological detachment. The protagonist suffers a psychological crisis that drives him into isolation, and the desert space transforms into a symbol of sorrow and self-contemplation. It reflects detachment from society and social marginalization, as the protagonist feels alienated in his own homeland and finds himself disconnected from the surrounding reality. The study concludes that the psychological disorientation resulting from the loss of identity and the fragmentation between conflicting affiliations renders movement through the desert an internal reflection of the search for the self.
