لقد كانت المرأة ولا تزال محل العناية والرعاية في شريعة الإسلام، ونظرة مجردة في كتاب الله وسنة رسوله - صلی اله عليه وسلم - واجتهادات الفقهاء، تُظهر مدى المكانة التي تبؤتها المرأة وتبين تبدل حالها من الذلة والمهانة في الجاهلية وفلسفات الأمم الأخرى إلى العزة والكرامة في الإسلام، ولا نبالغ إذا قلنا إن حالها تحول من النقيض إلى النقيض؛ فقد جعل لها الإسلام ذمة مالية مستقلة لم تعرفها فى الجاهلية، وجعلها جوهرة مكنونة يجب صيانتها وحمايتها، وأخبرنا الإسلام أنهن شقائق الرجال، وأن بر الأم ثلاثةً أضعاف الأب واجب حتمي على الأبناء، ويكفي أن إكرام المرأة واتقاء الله فيها من خواتیم وصايا سيد الأنام – صلى الله عليه وسلم. (و اَتقوا الله في النساء)
Women have been and continue to be the subject of care and care in Islamic law, and an abstract look at the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - and the jurisprudence of jurists shows the extent of the position that women have held and demonstrates the change in their condition from humiliation and indignity in pre-Islamic times and the philosophies of other nations to pride and dignity in Islam. We are not exaggerating if we say that her situation has changed from one extreme to the other. Islam made her an independent financial liability that she had not known in pre-Islamic times, and made her a hidden jewel that must be preserved and protected. Islam told us that they are the half-brothers of men, and that honoring the mother three times as much as the father is an inevitable duty for the children. It is sufficient that honoring the woman and fearing God in her are among the final commandments of the Master of the Humans - may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. (And fear God regarding women)
