يهدف هذا البحث إلى الوقوف على أهمية علم المنطق، فالمنطق ميزان العلوم ومعيارها، وهدى للعقل إذا أخطأ في الفكر، ومن هنا يقف البحث على إبراز آراء المسلمين في المنطق اليوناني الأرسطي، فمنهم يؤيد ويعاضد، ومنهم ينكر ويعارض، ووقف البحث على تعريف المنطق وموضوعه وفائدته، وصلة المنطق بفروع المعرفة الأخرى، كما وقف البحث على انتقال المنطق الأرسطي إلى العالم الإسلامي.   
This research aims to stand on the importance of the science of logic, because logic is the balance of sciences and their criterion, and a guidance for the mind if it errs in thought, and from here the research stands on highlighting the views of Muslims in the Greek-Aristotelian logic, some of them support and support, and some of them deny and oppose, and the research stops on the definition of logic, its subject and its usefulness And the connection of logic with other branches of knowledge. The research also focused on the transmission of Aristotelian logic to the Islamic world.
