إن المتأمل في دراسته للفلسفة اليونانية القديمة يجد تميز هذه الفلسفة ورجالها حيث نجدهم أفنوا حياتهم في البحث، وقدموا للفکر البشري إبداعاتهم الفريدة وأعمالهم الخالدة في مجالات الفلسفة وغيرها من العلوم وشتى المعارف، بغض النظر عن قبول هذه الحلول التي وضعها الفلاسفة أم لا ؟
ويهدف البحث إلى التعرف على المشکلات الفلسفية لفلسفة ما قبل سقراط التي شغلت أذهانهم وبيان جهودهم المبذولة في حل هذه المشکلات، ويهدف أيضا طلب وحب المعرفة والتطلع إلى ما لدي هؤلاء الفلاسفة اليونانية ارتکزت بشکل أساسي على العقل فهو الذي يصيغ المشاکل بنفسه ويعمل على حلها بجهده، کما يهدف البحث إلى إظهار مدى الصلة القوية بين المدارس اليونانية القديمة، کالمدرسة الأيونية، المدرسة الفيثاغورية، المدرسة الايلية، وبيان أوجه الاتفاق والاختلاف بينهم.
أما عن منهج فقد اعتمدت على المنهج التحليلي النقدي حيث يلزم تحليل أفکار فلاسفة هذه هذه المدارس نقدها وترجيح الصواب منها واعتمدت أيضا على المنهج المقارن لکي يتضح المعنى في الذهن .
وکان من نتائج البحث معرفة أن أول نظرة فلسفية خالصة مقترنة بالنظرة العلمية بدأت مع طاليس وترامت مع انکسمندريس وانکسيمانس وخلفت تراث الفلسفة الطبيعية الأولى التي تعد على بساطتها قاعدة الحضارة الفکرية عند اليونان، ومعرفة أيضا أن بارميندس الايلي أهم شخصية استمد منها أفلاطون اتجاهه التأملي والميتافيزيقي وهو أول فيلسوف أثار مشکلة المعرفة على أساس التميز التميز بين الحقيقة والمظهر في الوجود، کما يعد انکساغوراس هو أول من فضل العقل عن المادة أو فرق بين الجسماني واللاجسماني، وظهر لنا جليا مدى الصلة القوية بين المدارس اليونانية فهي لا يتفق من ناحية الزمان والعصر فحسب بل تتفق أيضا في المذهب والاتجاه الفلسفي

The meditator in his study of ancient Greek philosophy finds the distinction of this philosophy and its men, as we find that they spent their lives in research, and presented to human thought their unique innovations and immortal works in the fields of philosophy and other sciences and various knowledge, regardless of whether or not these solutions developed by philosophers were accepted?
The research aims to identify the philosophical problems of pre-Socratic philosophy that occupied their minds and the efforts exerted in solving these problems, and also aims to seek and love knowledge and look to what these Greek philosophers have mainly based on reason, for it is the one who formulates problems himself and works to solve them with his own efforts, as well as The research aims to show the strong link between the ancient Greek schools, such as the Ionian School, the Pythagorean School, the Eleatic School, and to show the points of agreement and differences between them.
As for the curriculum, it relied on the critical analytical method, as it is necessary to analyze the ideas of the philosophers of these schools, critiquing them and weighing the correctness from them, and they also relied on the comparative approach so that the meaning becomes clear in the mind.
One of the results of the research was the knowledge that the first purely philosophical view associated with the scientific view began with Thales and extended with Anxamendris Wanximans and left the legacy of the first natural philosophy, which, on its simplicity, is the basis of the intellectual civilization of Greece, and also knowing that Parmendes the Elie is the most important character from which Plato derived his contemplative and metaphysical direction, and he is the first A philosopher who raised the problem of knowledge on the basis of the distinction between truth and appearance in existence, just as Anxagoras was the first to favor the mind over matter or the difference between the physical and the non-physical, and it became clear to us the extent of the strong connection between the Greek schools, as it is not consistent in terms of time and age, but also agrees.
